Lieutenant General Sir Graeme Lamb is a noted counterinsurgency expert who served as Commander Field Army from 2007-2009, as well as Director Special Forces from 2001-2003. Gen. Lamb served 35 years in the British Army, including operational deployments in Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Afghanistan, and Iraq, where he served as Senior British Military Representative and Deputy Commanding General of the Multinational Force. Since his retirement in 2009, Gen. Lamb has held several advisory and teaching positions.
